He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Foster Jackson and Joe Wendell Jackson (Martha); and his grandmother Provie Mae Tippit. He is survived by: his wife Jami Jones Jackson; his children, Jessica Jackson Russell and Joseph "Joey" Michael Jackson (Mackenzie); his former wife Teresa Evetts Jackson Horton; his stepchildren, Roxana Guy and Jeremy Hopper; and also, Jean, Frank Jackson of Hermitage, TN, Debra Jackson Staggs and Wendell Jackson.
