She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Rountree; her parents, Eddine Johnson and W. T. Johnson; and her siblings, Betty Jean Neely, Kenneth Johnson and Billy Johnson.
She is survived by: her sister Nelda Thurston (Ray) of Murfreesboro; and her stepdaughters, Connie Hendrix and Beth Smith (Dennis) of Carthage. She is also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
