He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Jo Pettigrew Brown; his parents, Lee Roy Brown and Bonnie Kropff Brown of Newport; and his brothers, Jack Brown of Nashville and Frank Brown of Newport, TN..
He is survived by: his son Dick Brown of Nashville; his nephew Jack Brown (Linda); his granddaughters, Maggie Crane (Kevin) and Nivah Eckert (John); and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Booher, Zeke, Luke and Hallie Eckert.
There will be a Memorial Celebration at Donelson Presbyterian Church on a future date to be announced, In lieu of flowers donations are welcome to Alive Hospice.
