He was predeceased by: his parents, James Warren Hinkle, Sr. and Margaret Louise Hinkle; his daughter Cindy Hinkle Smith; and his sister Jean Hinkle Dent. He is survived by: his wife Earlene Garrett Hinkle; his sister Margaret Dean DeBusk of Fayetteville, TN; his children, Kathy Fyke (Jim) of Lebanon, TN, Beth Mackinem (Mitch) of Stallings, NC and Warren Hinkle (Leigh Ann) of Mt. Juliet, TN.; his grandchildren, Kristin Michael (Brandon), Chelsea Miller (Jon), Courtney Fyke, Chris Mackinem (Laura), Lindsay Mackinem, Chase Henslee, Justin Henslee, Chris Henslee, Ellen Vest (Michael) and Emily Hinkle; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Logan Michael, Eli Miller, Jack Mackinem, Elizabeth and Maverick Vest.
