He is survived by: his son Chad McFarlin; his grandchildren, Matthew and Jayden Schutt; and his siblings, Gail Adler (Richard), Brenda Waters, Ray McFarlin, Kenneth McFarlin (Robin) and Randall McFarlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
