Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dewey Gene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his son Spencer Penticuff (Alisha); his close friend April Demarini; his children, Matthew Yates (Dessie), Deshawn, Ashley Spears (Cody), MaKayla Schmidt (Vince), Raleigh and Bailey; and his sisters, Stacey Nixon, Brandy Alsup and Rachel Keesee. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, Several Nieces, Nephews.
