William Thomas Evans Obituary

William Thomas "Willy" Evans, age 30 of Dickson and McEwen, TN died on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

A funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Taylor Funeral Home. Pastor James Savage will officiate. His place of rest will be in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 PM. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.

Willy was born on February 18, 1993, in Nashville, TN. He was a son of the late Barbara Dean Brewster and Thomas Eldon Evans. He worked as a plumber for Schaffer Plumbing. Willy was a fun loving and caring person, who never met a stranger. He was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan. He loved fishing, dancing and playing cornhole…and if you wanted to make it interesting, he would entertain a wager. He was a great friend, the best brother and uncle you could ask for, he loved his nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Austin Bolton.

Mr. Evans is survived by his sister-mama, Brandi Reid (James), siblings, Karen Jensen (Tanner), Sandy Evans, John Evans, Patrick Evans, and Lisa Evans; his girlfriend, Charlotte Stanford and her sons, Coby and Andrew Stanford; special nieces, Ashley, Emily and Ava Reid. Also surviving are several additional nieces, nephews, cousins; as well as his Schaffer Plumbing family, and Willy's pets "Blu" and "Larry".
