He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Marie (Mayes) and J. P. Montgomery Holt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Faye Harper of Nashville, TN; his children, John Michael Christian Holt, Allison Holt May and Nathan Prescott Montgomery Holt; and his granddaughter Violet Harper May.
