He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Eppes Caldwell; his sons, Michael Caldwell, Mark Caldwell and Matthew Caldwell (Barbara); and his siblings, Bettye Jean Caldwell Hall, Carl Caldwell and Kenneth Caldwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
