He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Proctor and Fronie McCarver Proctor. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Burgess, Rebecca Taphorn (Bob) of Dickson, TN and Walter Dean Proctor (Athena) of Dickson, TN; his grandchildren, Robert Taphorn, III (Courtney), Michael Burgess, Jeb Reeder, Jenny Lynn Jones, Lesa Marie Proctor (Johnathon), Ryan Michelle Proctor (Nathan) and Lindsey Taphorn; and his brother Lonnie Proctor of Dickson, TN. He is also survived by 11 Great-Grandchildren.
