She was predeceased by: her husband James O. Cathey, Sr.; her grandson Joseph Miller; her parents, Clear Pedigo and Roberta Pedigo; and her siblings, Hansford Pedigo, James "Cotton" Pedigo, Stella Williams and Debbie Boman.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Miller, Darlene Swaw (Mike), James Cathey (Julie Ann) and Julie Cathey; her grandchildren, Justin Miller (Genevieve), Rachael Thomason (Jon), Timothy Bradshaw (Alleigh), Shawn Henry (Ashley), Beth Moore (Greg), Ashley Aulidge (Chase), Kelsey Shelton (Sam), Kimberly Wilson (Brandon), Annie Groves (Matthew), James Roy Cathey and Karmen Jackson (Wyatt); and her siblings, Judy Cross (Floyd), Ella Ben, Brenda Ferguson and Larry Pedigo (Kathy). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Cremation Center (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
