He was predeceased by: his parents, Williams Curtis and Fola Simons (Bailey). He is survived by: his former wife Billie Simons; his daughters, Janet Simons, Jenny Simons and Roxanna Simons-Williams (Undraye Williams); and his brother Charles Ray Simons (Lynnette). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
