He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Eugene Oliphant, Jr. and Elizabeth Jo Work Oliphant; and his siblings, John Wayne Oliphant, Sr. and Linda Oliphant Williams. He is survived by: his sister Judy Wall of Cumberland Furnace; his nieces and nephews, Jeff Walton (Pat) of Clarksville, Joe Wall, Jr. (Candice) of Cumberland Furnace, John W. Oliphant, Jr. of Nashville, Jason Oliphant Kenya (Jamie), Shari Wright (Eric) of Dickson and Andrea Lampley (Dan) of Fairview; and his siblings-in-law, Robbie Oliphant of Burns and Neal Williams of Burns. He is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews, and one great-great niece.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
