He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Newcomb and Dorothy Jean Newcomb (Wiseman); and his daughter Barbara Joann Gregory. He is survived by: his sons, James Newcomb and Glen Newcomb; his grandchildren, Isabell, Kalyb, Mason, Chelsea and Cadence; and his siblings, Eddie Newcomb, Patsy Robinson, Shirley Sullivan (Bubba), Ivy Beard (Robert), Dale Newcomb, Lewis Newcomb (Jerri), Holly Hulen, Nina Dunavin, Tina Dennison, Bruce Newcomb (Misty) and Lucy Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home (209 E College St, Dickson, TN 37055).
