Robert Earl Zwingle Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Earl Zwingle (Dickson, Tennessee), born in Slayden, Tennessee, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Sue Heath Zwingle; his son Paul Lee Zwingle; his parents, Evie Waynick Zwingle and L. C. Zwingle; and his sister Sharon Zwingle Niles.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Otto (John), Cindy Sensing (Steve), Terry Zwingle (Cynthia), Sherry Anderson (Mike), Missy Foster (Ronnie Phillips) and Johnny Zwingle (Rachel Novem); his extended family, Kim and David Williams; his sister Diane Harrison (Roger); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Fizer (Joe) and Joyce Heath. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Averitt Cemetery.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Averitt Cemetery or Charlotte Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
