He was predeceased by: his parents, George Welker and Aline Proctor Welker; his brother Bobby Welker; and his grandson Curtis Lowe. He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Lowe (Hallis) of Dickson, TN, Tina Welker (Barbara) of Dickson, TN and Peggy Myatt of Dickson, TN.; his brother Thomas King Welker (Sarah) of Cumberland Furnace, TN; his nieces, Patti Welker of Nashville, TN and Mona Sensing of Cumberland Furnace, TN; and his brother Jerry. He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
