She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Paul and Mary B. Christian Petty; her husband Billy Petty; her siblings, Iva Dell Tidwell, Mary Helen Petty and Buford Petty; and her grandson Jason Wessel.
She is survived by: her children, Claudia S. Lawson of Dickson, Cathy A. Wessel (Harold) of Macomb, MI, Jimmy S. Petty (Janice) of Dickson, Cynthia L. Plunkett (Ronnie) of Dickson and Steve Petty (Crystal) of Dickson; and her brother Donald Eugene Petty (Janie) of Dickson. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
