He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Sanders and Sarah Evans Sanders; and his brothers, Jessie Sanders, Billy Sanders, Jimmy Sanders, Alexander Sanders, Elliott Sanders, Clayton Sanders, Richard Sanders and William "R. T.".
He is survived by: his wife Vinie Mae Sanders; his sisters, Roberta Sanders, Idella Sanders, Irene Burns and Leona White; and also Aniya Sanders. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
