She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse James Ramey and Lily Ruth Martin; her husband Emery G. Brown; and her siblings, O'Neal Ramey, Mary Byrn, Alene Hooper and Helen Rouse.

She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Shelton (Phil) of Dickson, TN; her sister Betsy Porter of Dickson, TN; her grandchildren, Nikki Gunnerson (Mike) and Jimmy Eubank (Jill); and her great grandchildren, Spencer and Jacob Gunnerson.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you donate to either Adoration Hospice, Dickson Cumberland Presbyterian Church, or the Alzheimer's Disease Research.
