She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Arthur Bates and Nora Kelly Bates; her husband Lum Jenkins; her son-in-law Carl Patton (Skip); her brothers, Henry Arthur Bates, Jr. and Billy Bates; her daughter Andra Jenkins-Patton of Dickson, TN.; and her close friend Richard Wheatley.
