He was predeceased by: his father Emmett Hollis Jones; his son Stephen Marcus Jones; his sisters, Shelly Jones and Sharon Hinkley; and his stepfather Johnny Gafford.
He is survived by: his mother Lou Elkins Gafford of White Bluff; his daughter Markee Garner (Jamie) of Jackson; his siblings, David Jones of White Bluff, Steve Jones of White Bluff, Danny Jones, Brad Prentice of Dickson, Matthew Prentice of Mississippi, Sherry Bennett (Evan) of Lyles, Gail Knight (Jimmy) of Ashland City, Riki Jones of Dickson and Brandy Prentice of Dickson; and his grandchildren, Bailey Garner and Sophia Garner of Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
