He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertie Leon and Mary Jean Marshall Gentry; and his brothers, Jimmy Gentry and Gale Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Linda Leathers Gentry of Dickson, TN; his sons, Brandon Gentry of White Bluff, TN and Steven Gentry of Charlotte, TN; his stepchildren, Richard Felts of Dickson, TN and Cisi Choate of Dickson, TN; and his siblings, Johnny Gentry of Burns, TN, Martha Root of Florida and Tonya Bennett of Hartsville, TN.. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
