He is survived by: his children, Larry R. Shoemaker Jr., Melvin J. Shoemaker, Tami L. Jefferson (Jeff) and Melissa A. Zimmerman (Robert); and his siblings, Glenn Shoemaker, Paul Shoemaker and Lois Predmore. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
