He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Kimbro and Roberta Luther Kimbro; and his siblings, Irene Garton, Tootsie Cathey and Luther Kimbro.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Lunn Kimbro of Dickson, TN; his daughters, Pam Mash (Ricky) of Dickson, TN and Tina Littleton of Dickson, TN; his grandchildren, Adam Mash (Olivia), Jonathan Mash (Candace), Leslie Gray (Jeff) and Laura Littleton; and his great grandchildren, Max Mash, Wyatt Mash, Stella Mash, Roe Mash and Layla Gray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Those desiring memorials may be made to the Dickson First United Methodist Church.

“Our deepest condolences to Aunt Alice, Pam, Tina, and their families on the passing of Uncle Johnny. Each summer when I was a kid, our family would travel from Detroit to Dickson to spend a couple weeks with our Tennessee family. Those are some of my fondest childhood memories, and Uncle Johnny was a major part of those. Rest in peace Uncle Johnny, you will be missed.
