John William Thomason Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2024, John William Thomason of Dickson, Tennessee, born in Bruceton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Harris Thomason and Amanda Mae Warren Thomason; his wife Peggy Abell Thomason; his daughter Anita Thomason Noyse; and his siblings, Imogene Sykes, Eulene Hoffman, Gordon Thomason and Rebecca Cathey.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Danielle Noyse; his stepchildren, Andy Abell (Tammie), Howard Abell Jr. (Cathy) and Terri Abell Whipkey (Andy); his sister Ruby Sluck; and his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Abell, Andrew Abell, Matt Brown and Lisa Holt. He is also survived by 7 nieces, 6 nephews and other extended family.
