It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Bassham Balitsky of Dickson, Tennessee, who passed away on August 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Alfred Joe; her husband John M. Balitsky, Sr.; her daughter Kelly Dawn Balitsky Hooper; and her sisters, Lee Stevenson, Carolyn Newell and Edith Green.
She is survived by: her son John M. Balitsky, Jr. (Dawn) of Dickson; her sister Lana Hogin (Bobby) of Dickson; her grandchildren, John Michael Balitsky, III (Leah) of Dickson, Brodie Balitsky of Dickson and Amanda Nicole Hooper of Dickson; and her pets, Bella and Rex.
