He is survived by: his wife Dena Croft Sullivan; his daughter Madena Harrington (Tim); his grandchildren, Luke Harrington (Tarah) and Lacy Harrington; his great grandchildren, Ella Moon, Ezra Croft and Hadley Grace; his siblings, Rose Ann Sullivan, Bessie Larkins (Gale), Faye Dickson (Jimmy), J. C. Sullivan (Delema) and Jeff Sullivan (Kathy); and his brother-in-law Hartsell Croft (Rachel).
James was an advocate of education because he knew it would open doors and build a solid foundation for success.
