With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jake Jurer Young in Dickson, Tennessee, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Young and Beaulah Carlson Young. He is survived by: his daughters, Brandy Madden of Dickson, TN and Nicole Young Emigh of Dickson, TN.; his stepdaughters, Jamie Barbour of Ohio and Jennifer Pinghero of Ohio; his sister Cynthia "Cindy" Scaranda of Florida; his grandchildren, Dillion, Tyler, Alyssa Madden, Karter, Kinsley, Cayson Emigh, Sydney and Noah Strait; and his brother David Young.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spann Funeral Home (1961 Hwy 48 N, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).
