He is survived by: his children, Jeffery H Vaughn (Amanda) of Dickson, Tanya Hughes of Madison and Gwendolyn Stewart (Aaron) of Charlotte; his siblings, Joe Vaughn of Charlotte, John Vaughn of Dickson, Mary Elizabeth Vaughn of Dickson and Addie Vaughn-Waggoner of Dickson; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Deonta Johnson, Breonna Hughes, Denzel Vaughn, Shabray Jackson, Chantelle Plunkett, Whitley Vaughn, Aaron Stewart, Jevarious Stewart and Brittany Moore; his nephews, Raydale Vaughn and Richard Darden; his friends, Billy O Bell Jr. and Ann Bell; and his caregiver Tawnya Jo Vaughn. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
