He is survived by: his wife Sara Phillips Caudill of Dickson, TN; his sons, Dr. Max Caudill (Lynn) of Franklin and Edward Thomas Caudill (Melinda) of Bellevue, TN; his brother Charles Hampton Caudill (Katherine) of Goodlettsville, TN; his grandchildren, Will Caudill (Meghan), Ben Caudill (Alice), Ellie Caudill, Grant Caudill (Grace), Paul Caudill (Katie) and Hannah Brewer (Tyne); and his great grandchildren, George Caudill, Wylie Caudill, Max Caudill, Adelyn Caudill, Sam Caudill, Thomas Caudill, Rees Caudill, Norah Brewer, Sally Caudill and Catherine Caudill.

“Charlie and Sara, I'm extremely sorry that I could not be at George's funeral. I recently broke my hip . I can walk but am still having problems. I only learned of his passing last Friday night. My wife was going to drive me to the funeral Saturday but I woke up that morning sick. George and I roomed together at Lipscomb for 3 years...3 of the happiest years of my life. He and I never had a cross word for those 3 years. He was a real pal and friend. Ray Dickerson”
