He was predeceased by: his father James Earl Horner; and his grandparents, Arthur Earl, Mattie Mathis Horner, Johnny A. and Alice Johnston.

He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Yvonne Johnston Horner; his daughter Emily Nicole Horner; his sisters, Anessa Blackwell and Alicia Kathleen Barry; his uncle Charles; his aunt Reba Horner; and his nieces and nephews, Autumn, Kelby, Braden Blackwell, Jaiden Clark and Max Malugin.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the funeral.
