He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Brumit and Helen Thompson Brumit; and his brother John Brumit. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Bumit; his children, Don Brumit and Karen Callimetti (Jeff) of Mobile, AL; his stepchildren, Jeff Mankin, Shayne Mankin, Dana Story and Stefanie Woodard (Lee); his grandchildren, Hillary Callimetti, John A. Callimetti and Nick Callimetti; and his stepgrandchildren, Logan Story, Nathan Story, Blake Mosley, Levi Tucker, Alexis Griffey and Samuel Griffey.
