He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey D. Bledsoe and Norvia Hutcheson Bledsoe; his wife Wilma Lorene Brown Bledsoe; his grandson Matt Bledsoe; and his sisters, Gladys Dedman, Aladee Tidwell, Beatrice Spencer (Harlan Bledsoe), Grace Tidwell (Delmer Bledsoe), Hooper Bledsoe and Flora Odell Bledsoe (Henry Bledsoe).

He is survived by: his caregivers, Brittany, Donnie Miniard, Kathy and Bill Vetter; his children, Danny Bledsoe (Barbara) of Dickson and Kathy Vetter (Bill) of Dickson, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Jason Bledsoe, Brittany Miniard (Donnie), Brandon Vetter (Emily), Kaci Bledsoe and Shane Vetter.
