She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Corlew and Ida Elizabeth Potts Overton; her husband Ollie Edward Sawyer; her siblings, Thomas Joe Overton, Donald Wayne Overton and Marion Frances Holland; and her son-in-law Galen Lyle Romine.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Sawyer Romine, Larry Edward Sawyer (Jennifer) and Jerry Stephen Sawyer (Kathy); her grandchildren, Dayla Joy Calendine (Chad), Leah Romine Henry (Travis), Stephen Caleb Sawyer (Natalya), Joseph Benjamin Sawyer, Rachel Elizabeth Sawyer, Laura Jo Sawyer, Hannah Marie Evans (Brice) and Robert Andrew Sawyer (Becca); her great grandchildren, Chloe Marie Wallis (Nicholas), Logan Stonewall Calendine, Wyatt Drew Johnson, Braelyn Avery, Charlotte Reagan Henry, Sawyer Dewey Evans and Murphy Jane Sawyer; and her siblings, Martha Nell Owen, Florene Sipes and John Paul Overton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Walnut Street Church of Christ (201 Center Ave, Dickson, TN 37055).
