We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, Dempsey Sutton (Dickson, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dempsey shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dempsey farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his sister Ann Donoho; and also Gerry (Betty Sutton). He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Davis (Tom) of Spring Hill, TN and Elissa Finchum (Andy) of Athens, AL; his grandchildren, Mason Lanius, Caylor Bryant (Andy) and Riley Finchum; and also Michelle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity or non-profit of your choice.
