He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dallas Cauthen and Lorraine Cathey (Jones); his sons, Kenneth and Robert Cauthen; and his sister Sue Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cauthen; his sons, Dee Cauthen (Myra Baird) and Brad Cauthen (Leigh Ann); his stepdaughter Anita Carol Steen (Bobby); his sister Betty Davidson (Carlos); his half-sisters, Cindy Raines (Randy) and Angie Scott (Gary); his brothers, Dallas Cauthen (Sue) and Ricky Cauthen; his grandchildren, Wade Appleton, DJ Cauthen, Haley Mann, Tyler Cauthen, Connor Cauthen, Mackenzie Cauthen, Logan Cauthen, Morgan Bowie, Matthew Bowie and Wyatt Baird; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Caleigh, Joplin and Hudson. He is also survived by extended family, and his church family.
