He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Hector and Corrine Owens (Buton); his son Dana Miles Owens, Jr.; and his grandsons, Jesse and Joseph Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Lula Mai Owens; his daughters, Patricia Coone (Daniel), Vanessa Owens and Tina Rich (Jeffery); his grandchildren, Rebecca Johnson (Josh), Racheal Dearborn (Joe), J. D. Sumerour (Chandler) and Kayla Petty (Larson); and his great grandchildren, Brysen, Jacob, Brenen, Brock, Elizabeth, Neyland, Jackson and Asher.
