He was predeceased by: his father Ulysses Clinton Ervin; and his sister Patricia Ann Marovich. He is survived by: his wife Peggy E. Ervin of Dickson; his sons, Clinton Lamar "Clint" Ervin, Jr. (Cynthialynn) of Murfreesboro and Charles Elam Ervin of Murfreesboro; his brother James Ervin (Carolyn) of Smithville, TN; and his grandchildren, Heidi Ervin, Bruce Ervin and Brian Ervin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
