He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gordon Rice and Mary Dee Potter Rice; his wife June Rushton Rice; his sister Audrey Rice McMillan; and his grandchildren, Crystal Webb and Justin Webb.
He is survived by: his children, Dwight Rice (Ivy), Ted Rice (Barbara), Paul Rice (Janet) of Waverly, TN and Beverly June Webb (Victor) of Dickson, TN; his brother Jimmy Perry Rice (Jo Ann) of Waverly, TN; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Stanton (Clark), Lindsey Butler Daniel Rice (Brittany), Rachel Schrandt Sam Rice (Jordan), David Rice Vickie Bland (Rachael), Robert Rice Jacob Webb (Brandy), Jared Webb Rachel Adamson (Gus), Amanda Rice Matthew Rice (Amy) and Parker Rice. He is also survived by 16 Great Grandchildren.
