He was predeceased by: his mother Opal Helen Thomas-Sweat; and his daughter Teresa Marie Jones. He is survived by: his wife Janice Sweat; his children, Tracy Grigsby (Shannon), Thomas "Bubba" Jones (Irene), Tonya Primm and Andre Darden; his brother Ernest Lewis (Enid); his aunt Mary Collier; his grandchildren, Erica, Jermaine, Shannon, Jr., Adrian, Shawna, Tranice, Gabrielle, Jackson, Alysha, Maggie and Shaun; his great grandchildren, Carter and Matthew; his friend James "Bubba" Hooks; and his cousin Rickie Dotson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
