With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alma Ruth Fitts Buchanan (Dickson, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard T. Fitts and Mae Morgan Fitts; her husband Paul Buchanan; and her siblings, Edward, William Fitts, Peggy Davidson and Allene Harrington.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Bose (Denny) of Hazel Park, MI, Rose Jedlicki of Murfreesboro, TN, Larry Buchanan (Pat) of Bon Aqua, TN and Robert Buchanan (Janice) of Bon Aqua, TN; her brothers, James Fitts (Dot) of Bon Aqua, TN and Bobby Fitts of Lyles, TN; and her grandchildren, Lisa Terrell, Annette Gwisdalla, Steven Bose, Ryan Bose, Dale Jedlicki, Michael Jedlicki, Duane Jedlicki, Chris Buchanan, Crystal Moffat, Robert Paul Buchanan, Sabrina Buchanan and Rachel Fuqua. She is also survived by 33 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to Asera Care Hospice because of the loving care and support they gave the family.
