He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Throop and Mary Throop; and his siblings, Lawanda Cross, John Throop, Bill Throop and Raymond Throop.
He is survived by: his wife Marlyn Throop; his brother Lester Throop (Lois); his children, Brian Throop (Kelly), Curtis Throop (Mary) and Tamara Hammer; his grandchildren, Terry Throop (Dana), Timothy Throop (Chrissy), Matthew Hammer (Molly), Savannah Lance (Alex) and Abigail Hammer; and his great grandchildren, Rileigh Hammer, Kaden Throop, Charlotte Cole, Caroline Hammer and Claire Hammer.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Alzheimer's Disease Research.
