We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 99, Samuel Wallace Arms Sr. of Delano, Tennessee, born in Apison, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. W. D. Arms and Robbie Arms; his wives, Clara Ruth Arms and Bessie Arms; his daughter Sandra Kay Arms Crye; his son-in-law Mike Crye; his stepdaughters, Vickie Patterson and Virginia Smith; and his siblings, Lorene Brown (Arms), Ernest, Paul, Boyd, Marshel and Olane.
He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Wallace Arms Jr. (Rhonda) and S. Wally Arms (Robin); his grandchildren, Timothy Scott Arms (LaRhonda) of Plant City, Sarah Elizabeth Arms Bruns (Timothy Ryan) of Raleigh, NC, Zachary Nathaniel Arms (Jess) of Allentown, PA, Jacob Andrew Arms (Beka) of Delano, Joshua Shane Arms of Knoxville, Rachel Lynn Arms and Hannah Grace Arms of Delano; his great grandchildren, Savannah Cheyenne Arms of Orlando and Libby Eleanor Bruns of Raleigh, NC; his great great grandchild Caleb Scott Arms of Orlando; his brothers, Bill Arms (Rennie) of Rogersville and Gene Arms (Joyce) of Smyrna; his stepdaughter Sula Jenkins (Bobby) of Delano; and his stepgrandchildren, Rebecca Patterson, Jamie Patterson and Laura Ridenour of Lyndhurst, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; step-great-great grandchildren; and many beloved friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
