It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Maye Dishman of Delano, Tennessee, born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Weaver and Lillie Baker Weaver; her husband Carl Edward Dishman; her son John Dishman; and her brother Cecil Weaver.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Franklin; her granddaughter Marlena Miller (Gary); her great great grandchildren, Zander Miller, Riley Miller, Maryann Bishop, Malachi Stinnett, Jayden Stinnett, Nevaeh Stinnett, Jacob Wilcox, Abby Wilcox, Samuel Williams and Andrew Williams; and her brothers, Junior Weaver, Daniel Weaver (Eloise) and Harvey Weaver (Eileen). She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
