He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Adams and Zella Wilcox Adams Rymer; his stepfather Lige Rymer; and his siblings, Sammy Adams and John Rymer.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Hood Adams; his sons, Charles R. Adams, Steve Adams (Tonya), Tim Adams (Pam), Kenneth Adams (Kathy), Terry Adams (Robert) and Doug Adams (Joann); and his siblings, Merty Rymer (Betty), Arvel Rymer (Ruth), Dwight Rymer (Melody), Carl Rymer (Shelia), Froney Rymer (Sharon), Betty Cheatham (Bill), Edna Burgess (Paul) and Rose Peels (Kenneth). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home of Benton (6439 US-411, Benton, TN 37307). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
