It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Smith of Del Rio, Tennessee, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lucy Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde R. Smith; her parents, John Luther and Doshia Carrie Reece (Nease); her siblings, James Clifford, Willie, Rueben Patton "Buddy" Reece, Mary, Lillie Reece and Hazel Reece Self; and her son-in-law Chip McGaha.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Lynne McGaha and Karen Kay Turner (Brian); her sister Estell Reece; and her grandchildren, Wendy and Eric McGaha. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family & friends are encouraged to celebrate Ms. Lucy's life through memorial donations to Deep Gap Baptist Church, of which she was a member since 1948.
