He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his stepson George Cooper; his grandparents, Joe and Ola Stokely; his aunts and uncles, Wiley (Willian), Willie (Aileen), Curly, Houston Stokely (Nona), Geri Stokely, Reba Stokely and Everett Worley; his cousins, Melissa Stokely, Joseph Todd Stokely, Ronnie Roberts, David Allen and Johnny Wayne Stokely; his grandparents, Elmer Duckett and Laura Buckholtz; his aunts, Linda Penrod and Imogene Allen; his uncle Ellis Duckett; his parents, George Stokely and Sheila Stokely; and also Evelyn Roberts (Clyde).
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Robyn Caldwell (James); his daughter-in-law Gail Cooper; his grandchildren, Vanessa Dodge (Jeremy), Elizabeth Cooper, Aerial Hayes and Colby Shelton; his great grandchild Xzavier Shelton; his siblings, Larry (Rita), Mark Stokely, Connie Presnell (Gerald) and Marlene Cochran (Jason); his sister-in-law Sandy Boles; his aunts and uncles, Everett Ducket (Mary), Ray Stokely, Edna Worley and Katherine Raper; and his close friends, Shelly Jackson and Luther Aikens. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews/nieces and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Clark Cemetery.
