He was predeceased by: his sister Phyllis Owens; his brother-in-law Charlie Jones; his niece Regina Jones Hamby; and his nephew Eric Lynn Jones. He is survived by: his siblings, Susie Kries (Bill), Shirley Jones, Azalee Jones (Chester), Claudia Owens, Patty Newport and Allen Clinton Owens (Misty); his children, Ross Owens and Morgan Cooper (Randy); and his close friend Rhonda Freytag. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
