He was predeceased by: his parent Denton Branscum; and his siblings, Bobby Branscum, Lorrain LaRue, Geneva Gibson, Louise June and Gurvis Odeva Branscum.

He is survived by: his parent Nora Morgan Branscum; his daughter Sandra (Delbert Harp); and his siblings, Juanita Hart, Helen Poe, James Branscum, William Branscum and Brenda Weston.
