It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Misty Dawn Finney of Decherd, Tennessee, born in Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 18, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Misty Dawn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Misty Dawn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her father Harry Fred Finney; and her daughter Jessie Larae. She is survived by: her mother Geneva Finney (Walls); her fiancé Lee Housley; her siblings, Marie Finney and Brian Finney (Deborah); her nieces, Kassie Larae Scharber and Brande Pemberton (Dearl); and her great-niece Joan Ruth.
